Confusion and panic as water falls from sky

Confusion and panic as water falls from sky

There was widespread bemusement and awe as water fell from the skies of the UK. The phenomenon, known as 'rain', was until now thought to be the stuff of legend and children's tales.

The 28th July 2018 will be a date which lives long in the memory, as water fell from the sky in cities and towns throughout the UK. The water fell as small droplets, seemingly originating from large grey objects floating in the sky. The grey objects are as yet unidentified but extra-terrestrial involvement has not been ruled out. Oxford Theologian, Professor Pious, has said however the objects bear a resemblance to 'clouds', which are described in ancient texts.

Citizens are being warned that the water will make them wet if they are exposed to it for even short periods of time but is not thought to be corrosive. Plastic-based clothing and sun parasols have proven to be resistant to the 'rain' so far.

It is unclear what the 'rain' hopes to achieve or where it will go now it is here, but there have already been reports of some kind of chemical reaction occurring whereby by the 'rain' can turn grass green instead of its usual yellow colour.
