American woman can’t laugh, only say “that’s hilarious”

An American woman is unable to demonstrate laughter in the same way as other people and instead has to say “That’s hilarious” or “That’s too funny” when faced with something comical.

A friend of the woman explained, “I have never seen her give us as much as a chuckle, but when she says ‘Oh my god, you’re too much’ that’s when I know I’m bringing the house down. Sure, it comes across a little disingenuous but I think that is literally the most amusement she can register.”
