Woman rescued after 15 hours in YouTube rabbit hole
Emergency services have successfully rescued a woman trapped in a YouTube rabbit hole for more than 15 hours.
Friends first raised the alarm after the woman, 24 year old Lauren Brown, failed to show for a planned night out. Despite the ordeal, rescuers said the woman was severely fatigued but otherwise well.
When able to speak, Lauren Brown explained what happened, "I only sat down to watch a carpool karaoke but before I knew it I was in too deep and couldn't get out. It was when I'd been in there 5 hours I knew I was in trouble. The lowest point was watching a video of West Side Story where all the parts were played by Cher."
Brown continued, "I thought if I could just find the 'Service is Selling' video I could get back from there but it just made it worse. It was such a relief when the fire brigade came - they pulled the power and slapped me round the face".
Undeterred by her ordeal, Lauren Brown said she would still watch carpool karaoke again.
