Fabulously Fake News.

A parody site. But more believable than most actual news these days.

Woman inspired by Linkedin memes defaults on mortgage

A woman has defaulted on her mortgage after quitting her job in response to Linkedin memes telling her to chase your passion, not your pension.

The womman, 33 year old Susan Naysmith from Stratford, explained, "I've always wanted to be a baker. I can't bake. I've never baked, but I like cakes and I've always thought it would be great to have my own bakery. I kept seeing memes on Linkedin which said things like The expert in anything was a beginner once. It was super inspirational!"

Naysmith continued, "So I woke up one morning and just jacked it all in - on Linkedin they say If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough and that was enough advice for me. That was six months ago. It turns out I'm a terrible baker and haven't been able to get my old job back."

With no fresh income, Naysmith has had her house repossessed and will be evicted within the week. Despite this she remains optimistic, "As Linkedin once told me" Naysmith said, "Great things never come from comfort zones. And I'm going to be pretty uncomfortable sleeping on my sister's sofa from now on, so things are looking up!"
