Priti Patel resigns to focus on celeb reality shows

Disgraced MP Priti Patel has resigned from the cabinet to focus on taking part in celebrity reality shows.

Priti Patel resigned from her position as UK International Development Secretary after controversy over undisclosed meetings in Israel. And it's a move which will put her front of the queue for celebrity reality programmes according to TV agent Jonny Smarmpants.

Smarmpants explained, "It's a genius move by Priti. She's made herself notorious enough so that you're average pleb knows who she is, but she hasn't done anything prison bad. Television is her oyster now: 'The Jump', 'Celeb Big Brother'...the sky's the limit. If she's really lucky she could be eating a kangaroo bollock on 'I'm a Celebrity...' in a month's time."
