Michael Gove to support Roy Chubby Brown on tour

Roy Chubby Brown has invited Michael Gove to join him on tour as his new warm-up act, describing Gove's style of comedy as a perfect fit with his own.

Gove identified BBC Radio 4's Today programme as the perfect opportunity to try some new Harvey Weinstein material this morning and Roy Chubby Brown was impressed with what he heard. He explained, "I heard the joke on Radio 4 and I loved it. It's exactly the sort of lazy, offensive humour my audience goes for".
